In John 21, Jesus meets His disciples in the middle of their uncertainty, failure, and regret to offer them restoration. Through Peter’s three-fold denial and three-fold restoration, we see that failure does not have to be the end of our story. Jesus calls us to love Him, serve others, leave comparison behind, and simply follow Him. As John’s Gospel comes to a close, we’re reminded that knowing who Jesus is demands a response: Will you let Him restore you? Will you follow Him?
